A Escola Paroquial Nossa Senhora do Bom Parto funcionava num prédio da Paróquia, casarão antigo localizado à Rua Euclides Pacheco, 463, onde foi erguida uma nova construção para funcionar o Hospital e Maternidade Nossa Senhora do Bom Parto, ficando o prédio vazio por longos anos. Em 1938 a missão de continuar a obra educacional foi entregue às Irmãs da Terceira Ordem Seráfica de São Francisco, hoje conhecidas como Irmãs Franciscanas da Ação Pastoral, o que continua até hoje; as irmãs, aliadas a parcerias com leigos e leigas, profissionais da educação, vêm mostrando eficiência e dedicação a esse trabalho tão edificante.
Naquela época, as irmãs assumiram a escola contando com a colaboração no trabalho educacional da senhora Carmelita e duas professoras contratadas pelo padre Bernardo Plar, pároco da Igreja local, além de continuarem com mais uma professora que lecionava na escola desde que a mesma era dirigida pelas Irmãs Vicentinas. O grupo de pioneiras era composto pelos seguintes membros: Irmã Isabel Grässmann (primeira diretora), Irmã Maria Bernarda Keil, Irmã Maria Luiza e Irmã Maria Josefina.
